Hello there! We are thrilled that you are submitting for Lucky Stiff with J2 Spotlight! Below you will find full instructions on what/how to tape plus the material associated for your role(s).
For all roles EXCEPT for Uncle Anthony, we’d love for you to tape the following:
-Slate: Name, height, location and a brief note of why you are interested in doing this show. If your requested character has an accent/dialect please give us a sample of this in your slate.
-16-32 bars of a song cut of your choice in the style of or from the show
-The song cut below for your character (MP3s included) *If you don’t see your character below, please just submit the 16-32 bar song cut of your choice.
NOTE: There are no scene sides to prepare for this (yahoo)!
For the role of Uncle Anthony:
-Slate: Name, height, location and a brief note of why you are interested in doing this show.
-This role has no dialogue or singing, but must be physically adept to portray a “dead body” for most of the show. Can you demonstrate for us, three separate “dead body” poses and perhaps a moment where you slump over in a chair or on a couch? (Think “Weekend At Bernies”) Surprise us!
