Hello there! We are thrilled you can join us for SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN auditions with Riverside Theatre. Please read the FULL details on what/how to prepare for our upcoming in-person sessions…
For Initial Appointments on 12/9 & 12/10 prepare the following:
-16-32 bars of a song of your own in the style of or from the show.
-Side 1 in the packet for your requested role(s). Note: some of these packets only have one side.
If you are called back on 12/12 or 12/13, prepare the FULL material in your assigned packet(s). For Principals that dance (Don, Cosmo, Kathy) You will be asked to dance at the start of the day on1 12/12, if you are called back.
NOTE: We will have song tracks for all song cuts this Friday, so check back next weekend in if you want to access the tracks to prepare.

-Come prepared to dance in your taps – have jazz/character shoes on hand.
-You may be asked to stay to sing after – prepare 16 bars of a song of your choice in the style of the show.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ALL: This is a FULL in-person session of casting with Initial Principal Appointments on 12/9 & 12/10, Ensemble Dance Call on 12/11, Principal Callbacks on 12/12 and Ensemble Callbacks on 12/13. We prefer to see you in person and will only be accepting tapes on a case-by-case basis when absolutely necessary. Please let us know in advance if you are not available for any part of this process, so we have that information up-front and can plan accordingly.
