Notes on Character/Preparation: Marguerite is a strong, independent woman with a lot of secrets. For her, it’s all about what she says and what she chooses not to share with others. She’s in charge – she’s not a victim. The team is interested in full belt and/or mix belt in these songs – steer away from soprano head voice as much as possible. They are high, but see if you can fill the sound and keep it warm throughout the songs. They are looking for a full and exciting vocal!
